MJ’s story begins long before DimOrrie.
Born and raised in South Africa, she grew up in a family shaped by discipline, faith, responsibility and ambition.
Her father was a police commissioner. Her mother was a pastor.
As the only girl among seven brothers, MJ grew up surrounded by strong personalities and the belief that circumstances should never define the limits of what you can become.
01 — Roots
Where you come from stays with you.
South Africa shaped MJ’s foundations.
Family, responsibility, resilience and possibility were part of the environment in which she grew up.
Those roots remain part of how she sees people, ideas and the things she builds.
02 — Becoming
Never one straight line.
MJ’s path has never followed one straight line.
She has studied psychotherapy, written a book, built a life in Denmark and continued exploring people, behaviour, routines and personal development.
Curiosity has remained one of the constants.
03 — Creating DimOrrie
Not a commercial brief.
DimOrrie developed through personal exploration, experimentation, testing and the gradual realization that something private might have a larger future.
Today, the journey includes beta users, structured feedback and professional product development.
But the philosophy remains personal: build carefully, learn continuously, protect what matters.

Dimo. Orrie. Her parents.
DimOrrie brings MJ’s story back to its beginning.
The name is a reminder that progress does not require leaving your roots behind.
